My name is Caitlin and I am on the committee of Relay For Life. Our Relay is taking place at the end of April this year and we will be embarking on holding a successful 24hr. event. This means that I will be up for about 30 straight hours. This blog will describe my experience with Relay, other experiences, and my possible downfall on the day.

Relay Update #2
Hitting the half way point right now. I'm so tired, I'm so cold, I want to sleep on the sidewalk. I am dreading going in the tent to find my blanket that has been sitting in the wind all night. I really shouldn't be complaining but I am a little person, I get cold so easily. I strategically volunteered for booths in hope that I will stay awake. At this point I think sleep with not be beneficial. Once I'm out I won't wake up, or I will take a nap and be extremely grumpy. Wish us luck.

Believe in your mind and your heart that there is nothing that will stop you for your cause and as a previous Ranger in the Army I Will tell you after many 30 mile trips. Just keep your head up and do not look down. Holding your head up gives you the confidence that your mind needs to know that your body might be saying you can't take it. When you can. Its something I personally have lost due to 2 major accidents. Nerve damage, Knee reconstruction. But you keep your head up and I will say a prayer for you for your cause because now i believe that is what life is all about. And please TELL THE WORLD YOUR STORY!
